How close are we to World Peace?

The World's Peace Pace is the speed with which we're moving towards World Peace. Peace Pace is measured on a scale of 1 - 10, with 1 being a state of World War and 10 being a state of World Peace. Every year on January 1st, the Peace Pace will reset giving us a chance to start anew. Unfortunately, we're not that close right now... but lets keep at it! After all, the only way we can hope to move towards world peace is by giving it a chance.
